Enlisted : 16th March 1916 to Sydney A42 Boorara
Embarked : 21st December 1916 Princess Clementine
Armistice Day 1918 : Hospital Weymouth
Returned to Australia : 1st March 1919 Solali
Connection : It is believed that Mathew was workong on one of the Horse Properties in the area at the time of enlistment.
Mathew was presented with a book From the Victoria League Harrow South during the War.
We have this booklet and it is displayed In the WW1 Cabinet, along with his War Record at the Museum.
If anyone can shed some more information on Mathew we certainly would appreciate it.
