Johannes married Magdalene Elizabeth PINNOW on the 22nd November 1930 at To the Cross Lutheran Church,Beenleigh.
Magdalene was born on the 12th December 1899 at Home in Alberton and died in 1969 in Nuriootpa, South Australia. She is buried in Nuriootpa.Her parents were Wilhelm Johann Fredrich PINNOW and Bertha Johanne Frederike nee GRULKE.
